On the 21st of February, 2018, the FirstGem community was officially launched virtually. The 1 hour event had FirstBank's Chairman, Mrs Ibukun Awosika, FirstBank's MD/CEO, Dr. Adesola Adeduntan, Media Entrepreneur, Japhet Omojuwa and the Smart Money Woman, Arese Ugwu in one room, answering important questions concerning women in business and the FirstGem community, as a whole.
